Meeting fee: CAD3.00 per person

Our MeetUp will consist of two activities, and you're welcome to join us for one or both. We'll begin at 09:00 at the White Spot and then for those interested we'll be carpooling to the Fraser Foreshore Park, which is at the foot of Marine Drive and Boundary Road. We'll probably leave the White Spot at about 10:15, so feel free to meet us after breakfast to carpool for the hiking portion. The walk goes eastbound for about 4 km and it's a dog friendly park.

This picturesque locale is the best and most scenic point of entry to the historic Fraser River.

The shoreline trail is ideal for a jog, walk or leisurely stroll. Visitors can relax and enjoy a view of the marine traffic on this busy waterway. Three trails take you inland: the western route is surrounded by wet brush lands and leads to the Marine Way pedestrian overpass; and the middle route follows Byrne Creek, and the eastern route passes the raptor meadow and tidal slough and leads to Riverbend Drive.

I suggest that you bring water for the walking part of our MeetUp, and if by chance the weather is poor we can always enjoy breakfast and cancel the walk.
